Who is a politically exposed person?

Politically exposed person is a person who performs or has performed important tasks of public authority and for whom related risks continue to exist.
Family member of a politically exposed person is his spouse, or a person considered equivalent to a spouse, a registered life partner, a parent, a child, a child's spouse or a person considered equivalent to a spouse, a child's registered life partner.

Person considered to be a close associate of a person with a political background for the purposes of this act is a natural person who is known that:

  1. he is the actual beneficiary of a legal entity or trust management together with a person with a national background;
  2. he has close business relations with a person of political background;
  3. he is the actual beneficiary of a legal entity or trust management created for the benefit of a person with a political background.
