How can we help with payment cards?

How do I check whether one and the same sum has been taken from my account and reserved?

Transaction sums are reserved until the transaction has been registered in the account, but no longer than 16 days. After 16 days, the reservation is cancelled automatically.
There may be cases when the transaction sum is registered in your account, but the reservation remains.
This happens most often when, for example, a larger sum is reserved in the account from a rental car reservation, and a smaller amount is registered in the account afterwards. Or, for example, plane tickets are bought for 1000 EUR (one sum), but the airline then submits the transaction as several payments, for example, taking five times 200 EUR.

To check whether a payment has been taken from your account and/or remains reserved, open the online bank. Select Accounts and Cards and find the account which is linked to the card used to pay for the transaction.
Check in two places:
1. Reserved amount
2. Account statement.

Check whether you see the retailer where you paid for the transaction in the Beneficiary/Remitter column.
If the money has been taken from the account, and can still be seen under the reserved transactions, you should write a written application to the bank to cancel the reserved sum.

To write the application, enter the online bank and select Correspondence with Bank → Free form Order to the Bank.

You must fill in all the fields marked with a star.
The text must include information on the transaction whose reservation needs cancelling. You must include the card number, transaction sum, transaction date, transaction location (retailer).
Bear in mind that cancelling the reservation does not mean that the transaction cannot be submitted later by the retailer.
